2009 has been a busy year so far, and I'm trying to fit in making a 6th studio album--Daytime Fireflies--while touring. Because it will be a struggle for me to keep touring and make enough $$ for the record, I'm giving you the opportunity to invest in it. Here's how it works. If you'd like to make a donation, click on the donate button below, and donate what you can. Shortly after you make your contribution, you will receive an email, asking for your name and address. What you will get in return is: your name and a note of thanks in the CD package, a tax donation letter, and my gratitude for allowing me to keep making music.

Emily is proud to be part of this Bloodshot Records project, performing Woody Guthrie’s "Hard Travelin" with Michael Schenkelberg. The songs on this 2-CD set are drawn from the Old Town School's Songbook, a collection of ballads, love songs, sea chanties, pop songs, work songs, old-time religious tunes, and lots of other great music that has found its way into the Old Town School curriculum.
